A documentary for BBC Radio 1, as part of the Ibiza 20 celebrations.
Looking at the relevance of Ibiza today and the impact it's had on many DJs and artists' careers.
BBC Radio 1
As part of Radio 1's 20 years in Ibiza celebrations in 2015, they asked us to come up with a documentary idea to reflect the island and explain why it's still relevant today.
After much research, we decided to focus on the importance of Ibiza when launching a DJ career or taking it to the next level, as well as what makes Ibiza the centre of the dance music universe.
Presented by Annie Mac, Made In Ibiza featured David Guetta, Carl Cox, Jamie Jones and Richie Hawtin sharing tales from their early days on the island, Hannah Wants talking about getting called up to DJ at Es Paradis for the first time when sitting at home in her pyjamas and up and coming duo GotSome on their very first trip to Ibiza.
Annie also gathered stories from other DJs synonymous with Ibiza, including Nervo, Steve Lawler, Erick Morillo and Doorly.
